How did you get into the consulting industry?
After a long career as a leader in both national and international companies, I was asked to start working as an Executive Search consultant in a smaller company. I have always appreciated working broadly, close to customers and in different industries, which has given me a large network and business understanding. I thought that as a recruitment consultant, I would be able to combine my interest in people and business in one and the same role and see clear results of my efforts.
What three things motivate you?
I get inspiration from all the fantastic people I meet in my assignments and am motivated by taking on challenging client assignments. I have an innate curiosity which means that I am driven by learning new things and developing together with others with a clear common goal.
What do you bring to Based on People, and why should customers choose you?
I bring a strong customer and results focus, social courage, business understanding and flexibility. I have worked in the service industry, as a naval officer, in the auction industry and in global and entrepreneurial IT companies, which has given me many insights and experiences. Customers should choose us for our genuine collegial commitment, challenging ideas and solution-oriented approach.
Personal - what do you do when you are not working?
When I'm not working, I like all kinds of training: cross-country skiing or ice skating, cycling MTB or yoga. I also like to spend time out in the archipelago with paddling and swimming. I also spend a large part of my time on my art collection, buying and selling. Auction addict!
