Our history
At New Year 2019, the current CEO Bengt Olander decided that it was time to do something new after almost 8 years at K2 Search. The decision was made when he enjoyed the peace and reflected on the year that had passed and what his next career step could look like. At the same time, there were others who were wondering how to broaden their existing business or try something new.

A few weeks later, Per (also with a background at K2 Search) contacted Bengt to discuss new challenges and collaborations. The timing was perfect, and they decided to meet in Gothenburg.
At the meeting, they discussed broadly, and the meeting turned into dinner where ideas and visions were tested and discussed. Slowly, a plan grew, and people in their network were contacted.
Early on, Mattias Silfversparre, Björn Forsén and Ulf Lindén (also from K2 Search) showed interest in the new company, and during the spring the company formation continued with more involved and interested people. Soon they had enough experienced stakeholders to start the new company. We were then 7 senior partners and Based On People was born.
