This week's inspirer Ida Carleborn Executive Assistant at Framgångspodden

Ida, you have been very goal-oriented with your studies and had a brilliant start to your career. How did you end up on Framgångspodden?
My spontaneous, short, answer to the question could be "coincidences" but I don't really believe in coincidences. I am instead convinced that different actions and choices we make affect our opportunities and take us to where we are.
During my Master's degree in Economics with a focus on organization and leadership, I always said that I did not want a "traditional job" (whatever that is) or work with "regular" economics. I have a need to express my creativity, to feel freedom and of course meaningfulness.
I am passionate about entrepreneurship, personal development and very curious about people. One of my great passions in life is also writing. Therefore, it was natural for me to apply to be part of the Success Podcast's columnist team in parallel with my studies. I also had the privilege of being invited to some of their events, which I went to alone in order to challenge myself and meet new people.
When I then announced that I was looking for a job in Stockholm, the team tipped me off about the position as CEO-Assistant at Framgångspodden. I immediately felt that it was what my heart was beating extra for. A good benchmark for me that this was the right thing was that I had chosen to get involved in the company in my spare time. The answer "coincidence" is perhaps close at hand, but it is also based on various actions - which I am convinced is an important factor in moving forward. I believe that "luck" and "coincidences" are something you create for yourself through who you are and what you do.
What do you think entrepreneurial companies like Framgångspodden give you for knowledge and experience that you can take with you further in your career?
In my current role as CEO-Assistant, it is very "hands on". I am involved in most processes, which is incredibly fun. It gives me an overall insight into entrepreneurship and what it is like to build and run a company. It's incredibly stimulating both in terms of skills and personal development. I have the privilege of working closely with a fantastic team of driven entrepreneurs where we have great confidence in each other and where there is a lot of freedom.
With curiosity and the desire to learn, I am convinced that you can learn anything you set your mind to. Something I'm also convinced is important is the realization to, continuously, exercise the muscle "courage". I believe that experience is something we create through reflection. Being involved in something is not the same as developing or learning. Something I take with me is the importance of "action" and "courage". The fearlessness I experience is required as an entrepreneur and the lack of the "right way".
As someone who has been very determined in my studies, I have also partly bought into the social structure and ideas about what career steps "should" look like. When I ask a question about "how", I often get the answer "what do you think?" - I like that. There is confidence, freedom and creativity in that question. Moving from thought to action is also something the team I work with is very good at.
What are you doing in 3 years?
In 3 years I will have a more operational role at Framgångspodden. This will free up even more of my creative ability and allow me to focus even more on the development of the company and the directions we see ahead.
In three years, I will also be a co-founder of several exciting companies that, like Framgångspodden, help people reach their full potential. I am convinced that people who feel good also perform well and feel the desire to do good for other people. This is one of the cornerstones of a project I am currently spending some of my free time on. I've been writing a book on anti-inflammatory nutrition for some time. I see this project taking off and developing in three years.
I continue to be driven by desire and passion in what I do and am also releasing my first novel.
