Esra, you are driven by justice, are extremely interested in human behavior, and get excited about meetings, relationships and business - in what way do you get an outlet for these driving forces at Based On People?
I get to use my driving forces every day at Based on People by matching the right candidate to the right assignment. In my work, I initiate many new contacts and build and develop relationships. I like quick turns, am fearless and curious, and customer-oriented, and that fits well in the industry we operate in.
How do you see that Covid has changed the way of working within the Executive search industry and how do you think it will develop over time?
It is fantastic to see how quickly the search industry embraces the digital way of working. The Covid pandemic has largely changed my work for the better. It has become easier to reach potential candidates as many work from home and are more available for open-ended conversations about a possible next step in their career. Going forward, I believe the digital development will enable faster contact creation, reduced decision-making processes and thus more efficient recruitment processes.
What didn't we know about you privately?
Since the age of 13, I have always had extra jobs alongside my studies and previous employments, everything from cleaner, waitress, I have worked in the theater world as a cashier, temporary worker in preschool and recruiter. I have a husband who is as active as I am and we have just bought a house in Hovås which currently includes a large renovation project. I have a son named Kian and am expecting my second in September. I live by the motto: Stay positive, work hard & make it happen ”. Happy Midsummer to you all!!
