About the role

As Accounting Manager, you will report directly to CFO/CEO Mario Hayek and lead a team of five employees—three accounting specialists and two assistants. You will have full personnel and operational responsibility for the Group’s accounting and will serve as the go-to person for complex accounting issues throughout the organization.

This is a newly created position, established as part of the Group’s initiative to strengthen and professionalize the finance function. You will take over with a smooth transition—the current Accounting Manager will remain with the company in a new role focused on financial management and internal control.

Your assignment

• Ensure high quality in the day-to-day accounting for the Group’s companies
• Quality assurance of monthly and annual financial statements
• Be responsible for group consolidation (approximately 15 companies)
• Monthly reporting to the CFO, including analysis and comments
• Prepare annual reports, tax calculations, and income tax returns
• Serve as the primary point of contact for auditors and government agencies
• Identify and implement process improvements and efficiency gains
• Lead and develop the accounting team

Who are you?

We are looking for an experienced accounting professional with leadership aspirations and a strong technical background.

 You have:

• Academic degree in economics—preferably a Bachelor of Business Administration with a concentration in accounting
• Extensive experience in accounting, preferably in companies with complex corporate structures
• Proven experience in group consolidation
• Experience with monthly reports, annual reports, and tax returns
• Experience in personnel management and team development
