Jula operates in several countries and has numerous stores in Sweden, Norway, Poland, and Finland.
The Marketing and Digital Sales Director has a key role within Jula and is responsible for leading a newly created, customer-centric organization for digital sales and marketing. This organization has overall responsibility for the customer journey – from first contact to purchase and continued loyalty – in all countries where Jula operates. The purpose of the new structure is to create a clearer customer focus and better coordination between functions that directly affect the customer's experience.
The organization is led by the Marketing and Digital Sales Director and is divided into four main areas of responsibility/units:
- Marketing
- CRM, Loyalty and Customer Club
- Customer Service
- Digital Commerce (E-commerce, Web dev., SEO)
Objective
The most important goal is to further develop the organization towards a clear commercial focus. The role involves optimizing the entire customer journey – from first interaction to conversion and loyalty – by utilizing customer insights and creating accurate, data-driven and effective communication.
All with the aim of driving sales and strengthening customer relationships.
A central task is also to take a strategic overall approach to Jula's digital development.
This means actively driving the digital transformation to ensure that we are at the forefront – both in our industry and in the eyes of the customer.
Responsibilities
- With full personnel and operational responsibility, lead and develop the work within Digital Sales and Marketing through four direct reporting managers.
- Have overall responsibility for the daily operations and for ensuring that the business functions effectively and with high quality in all countries and channels.
- Have overall responsibility for driving traffic to our sales channels – We are looking for someone who not only wants to lead, but who is also passionate about creating and implementing strategies that maximize visibility, engagement and conversion in all our sales channels.
- Be responsible for digital sales – including e-commerce and the web – with the goal of creating a seamless and optimized customer experience that drives conversion and results.
- Ensure that all marketing communication from Jula AB and the sister companies that are served is of high quality, consistent and builds the brand.
- Drive a clear commercial focus with a strong connection to customer insights, data-driven communication and sales goals.
- Act as functional manager also for international team members where applicable.
- Be a driving force in Jula's digital transformation, with responsibility for taking the organization forward and ensuring that Jula is at the forefront of the digital area.
- Member of the management team for Jula AB
Professional background and experience
- Experienced and knowledgeable marketing and sales manager with relevant skills and experience from modern retail, B2C, possibly also B2B
- Experience from businesses with direct sales to end customers
- Experience working with e-commerce
- Drive digital transformation – modern digital marketing – technical development
- Solid leadership experience, used to leading through other leaders
- Experience from change management
- Used to working in a management team
- Experience from the Nordic/international market
