Group CFO – a key role that is strategic, business-oriented, and central to the Jula Holding Group's continued growth journey nationally and internationally.

The Jula Holding Group is a family-owned group based in Skara, Sweden. The group consists of businesses in retail, logistics, real estate, environment & energy, and hotels, with Jula and Hööks Hästsport being two strong brands in the retail sector, with a presence in several countries.

About the role

The Jula Holding Group is currently undergoing a phase of rapid expansion and development, both organically within existing operations and through strategic acquisitions. The Group is gradually evolving into a group of companies with multiple operations, with the parent company acting as an executive holding company.

As Group CFO, you will have overall responsibility for the entire Group's financial management, long-term financing, and financial structure, and you will work closely with the Group CEO and the CEOs of the business-driving companies.

In connection with the current Group CFO stepping down from his role, a new Group CFO is now being recruited to Jula Holding AB. The role is based in Skara and reports to the CEO of Jula Holding AB.

Objective

In the role of Group CFO, the short-term goal is to ensure stable and well-functioning core financial processes in the Group's various operating companies. A central part of the assignment is to further develop and strengthen the Group's KPI structures and follow-up models, as well as to take an active and leading role in the upcoming change of business systems.

In the longer term, the goal is to ensure that the Group's financial structures, frameworks, and working methods fully support the Group's continued strong expansion and strategic acquisitions. An important part of the assignment is to ensure long-term access to liquid funds when needed and to ensure that the Group's capital investments generate a return that exceeds the Group's borrowing costs over time.

 Responsibilities

• Overall responsibility for the Group's financial management framework
• Ensure that operating companies work in accordance with the Group's financial practices
• Long-term financing of the Group
• Risk management and risk assessment
• Currency management
• Cash management
• Capital and financial investments
• Active participation in strategic acquisitions
• Member of Group Management
• Functional leadership responsibility for approximately 10 employees in controlling, finance, and legal (Jula Business Partners)

We are looking for someone who has:

Professional experience and skills

• Bachelor's degree in economics or equivalent
• Solid and documented experience from a similar CFO role in a large group
• Experience in all key areas of finance, governance, and risk
• Built and developed group-wide frameworks for financial management
• Strong business acumen and experience working closely with business in various types of operations
• Experience in capital and financial investments
• Documented leadership experience
• International experience
• Experience in negotiations in connection with acquisitions
• Experience in retail and supply chain is an advantage.
