The Company

A publicly traded tech company in a sector that few European investors fully understand—with a business model that scales in markets far removed from Stureplan and Canary Wharf. The company is profitable, debt-free, and growing. Its product solves a real problem for hundreds of millions of people and is deeply embedded in their daily lives.

The challenge of this role isn’t the business itself—it’s the story behind it. The revenue mix is changing: moving away from reliance on advertising toward recurring revenue through subscriptions and B2B. The shift is well underway but hasn’t been fully priced in yet. That’s where you come in.

The Role

A senior, independent IR role reporting directly to the CFO. You will be fully responsible for the equity story—from quarterly reporting processes and analyst relations to roadshows in New York and London, as well as the ongoing work of shaping how the market perceives the company.

You will serve as the primary point of contact for sell-side analysts, institutional investors, and the financial media. Internally, you will act as a strategic advisor to the CEO and CFO, preparing them for capital markets meetings and providing feedback on investor sentiment. The finance team is intentionally small—you will need to work closely with financial systems and data, not just on narrative content.

Here's what to do

• Owns and manages the company’s equity story—analyst relations, investor outreach, and ownership structure
• Leads quarterly and annual reporting processes: investor presentations, press releases, Q&A preparations, and media relations
• Organizes and conducts roadshows and capital markets days in key financial centers—New York, London, Frankfurt, Amsterdam, and Stockholm
• Briefs and coaches the CEO and CFO ahead of investor meetings; provides feedback on investor sentiment to management
• Monitors values and market positioning; provides market analysis to the management team
• Manages insider lists and MAR compliance in close collaboration with the General Counsel

• The company’s emerging markets and revenue drivers differ from what Nordic and Anglo-Saxon investors are accustomed to — education is a central part of the job
• The CEO and CFO are often traveling internationally—you’ll work with a high degree of independence
  

The person we are looking for

A commercially savvy IR professional who can take ownership of a complex narrative and communicate it with conviction—to both generalist investors and specialized tech funds.

Experience:

• 5+ years of experience in investor relations at a publicly traded company, or equivalent experience in equity research or corporate finance
• Experienced in working closely with the CFO and/or CEO on strategic communication issues
• Experience in tech, growth, or fintech is a plus; an understanding of emerging markets is a distinct advantage
• Strong financial acumen: P&L, KPIs, valuation, and capital structure
• Excellent English is an absolute requirement; good knowledge of Swedish is required for the domestic market and internal operations

• A storyteller with depth and substance—who makes complex ideas understandable without losing the nuances
• Self-motivated — you don't wait to be told what needs to be done

• At ease in senior circles — with board members, founders, and fund managers
