Do you want to be involved in building the security structure of the future within a growing and dynamic group? The Jula Holding Group is now looking for a Chief Security Officer (CSO) – a key role with significant strategic and operational responsibility for the group's security work nationally and internationally.

About the role

As CSO, you have ultimate responsibility for driving, developing and managing a group-wide security infrastructure. You will lead the strategic security work and ensure a high, cost-effective and future-proofed level of security. At the same time, you will be a strong operational support to the companies, focusing on creating structure and security throughout the business.

Your mission extends across the entire group, including the extensive retail operations within Jula and Hööks. You and your organization will provide expertise, processes and solutions that contribute to both risk minimization and business development. The location is in Skara, although travel occurs and is a natural part of the role.

Objective

Establish a fully functional, group-wide security platform that enables scalability, efficiency and increased business benefit. The mission is to create security for staff and customers, protect property and reduce costs by ensuring structures and working models for security work, with a particular focus on store security as a business-critical part of the business. During your initial period in the role, you will conduct an overall current state analysis of the security structure within all companies and operations in the group. This analysis will then form the basis for a targeted action plan that extends both over the immediate operational work and the long-term strategic development mission.

 Responsibilities

• Maintain and further develop a group-wide security strategy, policies and methodology
• Be responsible for the group's security systems and selection of technical partners
• Drive security work in line with national legislation and insurance requirements
• Lead the daily security work and act as an advisor in matters relating to threats, violence, risk and crisis management
• Ensure structured processes and standardized solutions within physical security, fire and access protection
• Offer scalable solutions and support for security development in the Group's various companies
• Coordinate the group's crisis management and ensure TRM structure (Total Risk Management)

We are looking for someone who has

• Relevant post-secondary education
• Documented leadership experience within security – preferably from retail
• A structured, strategic, and analytical approach
• Ability to balance demanding and supportive roles
• Good communication skills in Swedish and English, both spoken and written
• High stress tolerance and a solution-oriented attitude
• An unpretentious, down-to-earth, and confidence-inspiring personality
