About the role
As Business Development Manager, you will have overall responsibility for bringing in new business, i.e. prospecting business opportunities, acquiring land, conducting market analyses, and investment and return calculations.
You will have ultimate responsibility for the organization and finances within the business development operations and lead a team of currently 5 employees, one of whom is based in Stockholm and the rest at the office in Gothenburg. Furthermore, you will have an active role in the strategic management team, which also consists of the CEO, Deputy CEO and CFO.
Location: Stockholm or Gothenburg
Responsibilities
- Strategy and prospecting – identifying new business opportunities, from land acquisition to completed logistics and industrial projects. Conduct market analyses and develop strategies and action plans to achieve growth targets.
- Finance and calculation - responsible for investment calculations and return calculations. Ensure that the deals are financially sustainable.
- Leadership and organization - lead and be responsible for a team of 6 senior business developers. Set goals and follow up individually and at group level.
- External representation and network – represent the company externally at events etc., build customer relationships with landowners and other partners.
- Operational responsibility – drive business and acquisition processes, negotiate terms and coordinate legal and commercial terms
We are looking for someone who has
- Commercial experience from the construction sector. Accustomed to leading remotely
- Documented experience in managing large deals - from start to finish
- Experience in business development within real estate, construction, data centers or plant/infrastructure
- Experience in real estate deals and transactions
- Large personal network and an ability to build business relationships
